Creative process:
  1. Reconstructing reality
The process began with historical photographs and the attempt to create an original reference character that would evoke Emil Zatopek without simply copying archival material.
  2. Scene generation
Each scene was first created as a static image.
Preserving the atmosphere and emotional feeling of the period was a key priority.
  3. Animation
The static images were then gradually animated into short sequences of approximately five seconds.
This was one of the most time-consuming parts of the project.
  4. Editing
The full film was assembled in Adobe Premiere Pro, with attention to continuity, rhythm and the overall emotional flow of the story.
  5. Sound design
The voiceover and final song were created using AI, based on original text written for the project.

The goal was to make the film work not only visually, but emotionally as well. Additional music and sound effects, including birds, crowd ambience and atmospheric details, were sourced from Envato Elements.
